Mirko Wagner

Independent Consultant for Cybersecurity & Software Update Management

Welcome

Hey there!

I am an independent consultant in automotive cybersecurity and software update management.

If your company is looking for a partner to tackle changes coming from UNECE R.155/156/157 or is looking for best practices in automotive cybersecurity, feel free to reach out.

After my studies in mechatronics, having worked with reliable embedded systems and touched IT-Security, I was excited to work in the field of automotive security. My job as a consultant for automotive security kickstarted my interest and made me focus my professional career solely on automotive cybersecurity.

After R.156 was officially published, I helped multiple OEMs with their Software Update Management System, which has afterwards been the second path in my career that I focused on.

If you want to get a deeper look into my experiences you can find my CV attached below:

Trust

Building trust can take time. But it's worth the wait. I value customer relationships based on trust a lot. It brings a good basis for the current and future collaborations.

Responsibility

In all my projects I take full responsibility for my work and strive to achieve the possible best solution for all projects I am involved in.

Clear communication

I embrace a clear communication. It gives you an honest feedback on the current project status and it gives me the time to reflect and improve.

Transparency

I believe full transparency in projects improves information flow leading to better decision making. I strive to be fully transparent regarding all the work I do.

Honesty

Honest is often very hard. The truth can be painful at times. I think it embraces a collaborative working environment and is one of my key values to success.

Embrace Mistakes

We all make mistakes. What differs is the way we treat them. Mistakes on the way are natural. Learning from mistakes improves the way forward.
